All You Can Eat Kumla Dinner - Sat. 1/17/26 | Posted 12/1/25

Helmar Lutheran Church will host an All You Can Eat Kumla Dinner on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 4:30–7:00 PM. Proceeds support the HLC Food Pantry, now in its 18th year and serving 120+ families twice a month. Dinner includes ham, kumla (dumpling), applesauce, dessert, and a beverage, with a baked potato available as a substitute. Carry-outs available. Location: 11935 Lisbon Road, Rural Newark, IL, 815-201-3789. This is a free-will donation dinner. New this year: raffle tickets for themed baskets.
